Indradhanush — meaning "rainbow" — is a home that dares to wear colour with conviction. Preksha Roy came to us with a clear vision: she wanted a home that felt poetic, alive, and deeply personal. Not a catalogue showroom, but a canvas of lived experiences and fearless imagination.
Interior Design is a complex process that affects its occupants functionally, aesthetically, and psychologically. Here, colour became the primary design language — each room a different movement in the same vibrant composition.
"Indradhanush is a refuge that reveals a poetic tranquility one can find in colour. The house owes its vocabulary to modern and contemporary elements, brought alive through bold, unapologetic choices."
From the royal blue louvered doors of the living space to the powder blue crockery unit, from the geometric dining table legs to the blush pink headboard border of the master suite — every element was considered, intentional, and irreplaceable.
One of the essential roles of Interior Design is to provide built environments that sustain the occupants' psychological well-being. In modern society, more than seventy percent of a person's lifespan is spent indoors — making the quality of that environment profoundly important. Colour is one of the most powerful tools we have.
Meandering through this home, the living space comes alive — its smooth planes boldly swathed with bright royal blue louvered doors. Despite its daring presence, the colour translates into neither noise nor chaos; instead, it anchors the space with a quiet authority. The powder blue tone of the crockery unit does not shy away from attention, while the dining table legs carry an enthralling composition of geometric motifs that adds rhythm to the room.
The children's bedroom descends into a pool of playful imagination — a vibrantly layered headboard set against a royal blue door, culminating in a fearless and brilliant study space. In the master bedroom, an arched display unit greets you at the threshold; a blush pink headboard border flows into the dressing unit, bathing the space in warmth. A yellow study table and royal blue wardrobe-cum-display, full of visual surprises, complete yet another master suite.
It is this understanding of colour, texture, and light — simultaneously inspiring almost mystic wonder while remaining deeply human in scale — that defines Indradhanush.
